1-Octene, polymer with ethene is an ethylene-octene copolymer (EOC/POE) used as a high-performance polyolefin elastomer. It is widely applied as an impact modifier for polypropylene, a compatibilizer in polymer blends, a component in flexible packaging films, wire and cable insulation, automotive parts, adhesives, sealants, and photovoltaic encapsulation materials. It provides excellent elasticity, low-temperature flexibility, impact resistance, and stress-crack resistance.
